The Goldendoodle is derived from the cross breeding of a poodle and a golden retriever. Both parent breeds are known to be highly intelligent and therefore the goldendoodle is usually found to be a highly intelligent breed of dog.

Goldendoodles are moderate to large in size and they are known to be exceptional pets with kids and other animals. They thrive in any environment once they are cared for. An extremely loyal puppy, the goldendoodle can be trained very easily with enough repetition and consistency.

Because of their size, goldendoodle puppies and adults can withstand the constant roughhousing of little children and therefore are known to be perfect for all families. The goldendoodle does require adequate exercise and regular grooming.
